Our Story

Every once in a while you find something that your good at and stick with it, for me that was making wine. I started bottling in 1999 for Family events and Holiday gatherings, each bottle consumed with delight and requests for more. Several of my wines have won first place ribbons in the Alaska State Fair. I take pride in the fact that every single bottle received very positive reviews and compliments. I handle each wine personally from the start of fermentation to the labeling of the bottles, testing and tasting to ensure the quality and flavor meets a high standard of satisfaction. I never let a wine out of my hands that I am not pleased with and if it does not meet my high standards, it is analyzed and disposed of.

Because of the compliments and requests for my wines, I soon found myself making larger quantities and different varieties, experimenting with different blends and recipes. Those whom have enjoyed my wines have convinced me that it was time to market what I produced. So the process of going into business as a Licensed Winery began. Months of paperwork, minor remodeling and a whole lot of patience from my wife, finally putting the small Winery into operation in September 2006. Each and every bottle still handled with my personal touch and meeting my high standards for taste and clarity.

As there are no vineyards in Alaska, the juices for my wines are shipped in to be blended with fruits, berries and other ingredients that are truly Alaskan. Each carries it's own Alaskan theme and follows a tried and tested recipe which I have developed over the years. A lot of the Alaskan ingredients I use are gathered in the wild, not from farms or commercial productions, which can make quantities limited. I process the harvests myself to ensure the best quality is selected and used  in the production of my wines. I pamper and perfect each wine, which means I strive to produce a delectable Alaskan wine. Keeping it simple to produce fine quality rather than large quantity. Bringing the flavors of Alaska that I have enjoyed, to your table for a special time with special people.
